Description
The project is being developed by EDF Lingbao Heat and Power and is currently owned by Electricite de France with a stake of 65%.
The project is expected to supply enough clean energy to power 25,000 households, to offset 150,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is expected to be around $126.716m.
The process of combustion will be adopted in this combined heat and power (CHP) project to release the stored energy from the feed. Agricultural by-product will be used as a feedstock to power the project.
Development Status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2024. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2025.
Contractors Involved
DP CleanTech China is likely to be the supplier of the steam boiler for the project. The boiler that will get installed at the site is expected to have a capacity of 130TPH.
