Description

The project was developed by Grupo Dragon and is currently owned by Centauro Energia.

The project generates 130,000MWh electricity thereby offsetting 79,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $125.446m.

Vestas Wind Systems was selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.

Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 28 units of V100-1.8 MW turbines, each with 1.8MW nameplate capacity.

Vestas Wind Systems is the O&M contractor for the wind power project. The operation and maintenance contract commenced from 2013, for a period of 10 years.
