Ludila is a 2,160MW hydro power project. It is located on Jinsha river/basin in Yunnan, China. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. The project commenced construction in 2007.

The project was developed by Yunnan Huadian Ludila Hydropower. China Huadian and Jinsha River Hydropower Development are currently owning the project.

The hydro reservoir capacity is 1,718 million cubic meter. The project generated 9,957 GWh of electricity. The project cost is $3,545.27m.

Development Status

The project commenced construction in 2007.

Contractors Involved

DEC Dongfang Electric Machinery was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 6 units of francis turbines, each with 360MW nameplate capacity.

Tianjin Alstom Hydro supplied 6 electric generators for the project. The generator capacity is 379 MVA.
