Description

The project was developed by EHN Wind Power Canada, Enbridge Ontario Wind Power and Suncor Energy. Enbridge Income Fund Holdings and Canada Pension Plan Investment Board are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51% and 49% respectively.

The project generates 92,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 13,000 households. The project cost is $48m.

The project is currently active. The project got commissioned in September 2004.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Enbridge Income Fund Holdings under a power purchase agreement from 2004. The contracted capacity is 10MW.

Contractors Involved

Hatch was selected to render EPC services for the wind power project.

GE Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 20 units of 1.5-77 turbines, each with 1.5MW nameplate capacity.
