Description
The project is currently owned by Atlantic Power with a stake of 100%.
It is a Gas Turbine power plant. The fuel is procured from ManChief Lateral Pipeline.
The project generated 300,300MWh of electricity.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in June 2000.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Public Service Company of Colorado under a power purchase agreement.
Contractors Involved
Siemens was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 2 units of SGT6-4000F gas turbines, each with 150MW nameplate capacity.
Colorado Energy Management is the O&M contractor for thermal power project for a period of 10 years.
