Mangla Dam Project is a 1,000MW hydro power project. It is located on Jhelum river/basin in Azad Kashmir, Pakistan. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. The project construction commenced in 1962 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in 1967.
