Description

The project was developed by Recurrent Energy.

Maplewood Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 2,000 acres.

The project supplies enough clean energy to power 55,000 households. The project cost is $486.16m.

Development Status

The project construction commenced in 2020 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in June 2021.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Anheuser-Busch Companies under a power purchase agreement for a period of 15 years. The contracted capacity is 222MW.

Contractors Involved

Canadian Solar was selected as the supplier of PV modules for the project.
