The project is being developed and currently owned by Assam Power Generation and North Eastern Electric Power. The company’s ownership stake in the project stands as 51% and 49% respectively.
It is a steam turbine power plant. The fuel will be procured from coal india limited.
The thermal power project will consists of 4 turbines each with 800 MW nameplate capacity.
