Description
The project was developed by Abu Dhabi Future Energy and Enviromena Power Systems. The project is currently owned by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority with a stake of 100%.
Masdar City Solar Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 210,000 square meters.
The project generates 17,564MWh electricity thereby offsetting 15,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Enviromena Power Systems was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.
The solar PV modules for the project were supplied by First Solar and Wuxi Suntech Power.
SMA Solar Technology supplied 16 of its Sunny Central 560HE inverters to the project site.
The mounting systems have been supplied by BASF for the project.
Abu Dhabi Future Energy is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project, commencing from the year 2019.
