Description
The project is currently owned by Luminant Generation with a stake of 100%.
It is a CCGT with Cogen power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Distillate Fuel Oil. The fuel is procured from Columbia Gas Pipeline.
The project generated 772,291MWh of electricity.
The Gas fired project consists of 1 steam turbine with 80.9MW nameplate capacity.

The project got commissioned in July 1993.
Contractors Involved
GE Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 2 units of 7E.03 gas turbines, each with 90MW nameplate capacity.
GE Power supplied electric generator for the project.
John Cockerill Group supplied steam boiler for the project.
