Description
The project was developed by Hindustan Powerprojects. The project is co-owned by GE Energy Financial Services and Hindustan Powerprojects, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.
MBCEL- Cagliari Solar Park is a roof-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 27 hectares.
The project supplies enough clean energy to power 10,000 households. The project cost is $58m.

The project got commissioned in August 2011.
Contractors Involved
Global Energy Services Siemsa was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.
Trina Solar was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 85,000 modules at the site.
Ingeteam Corporacion supplied 4 of its Ingecon®Sun500TL inverters to the project site.
Ingeteam Corporacion supplied 23 of its SUN 630 TL inverters to the project site.
Global Energy Services Siemsa is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project.
