The project is developed and owned by Solar Power Minamisoma-Haramachi.
Minamisoma Sumitomo Solar PV Park 1 is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 50 hectares.
The project generates 37GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 10,000 households. The project cost is $114.763m.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in December 2018.
Contractors Involved
Taisei and Toshiba Energy Systems and Solutions were selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.
Toshiba was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 119,592 modules each with 270W of nameplate capacity.
Toshiba Mitsubishi-Electric Industrial Systems supplied 32 inverters to the project site.
Toshiba Energy Systems and Solutions is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project.
