Description
The project was developed by Mirfa International Power & Water. Abu Dhabi National Energy, Engie and Sojitz are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 60%, 20% and 20% respectively.
It is a Gas Turbine power plant.
The project cost is $341.568m.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in 2017.
Contractors Involved
Ansaldo Energia, Hyundai Engineering and Hyundai Engineering & Construction were selected to render EPC services for the gas fired power project.
GE Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 4 units of GE 9E gas turbines, each with 90MW nameplate capacity.
Ansaldo Thomassen is the O&M contractor for thermal power project for a period of 12 years.
