Description
The project is currently owned by Ministry of Electricity, Iraq.
It is a Gas Turbine power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Light Fuel Oil.
The Gas fired project consists of 10 gas turbines, each with 20MW nameplate capacity.
Contractors Involved
Mitsubishi Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 2 units of H-25 gas turbines, each with 25MW nameplate capacity.
