Mueang Udon Thani Biomass Power Plant is a 20MW biopower project. It is planned in Udon Thani, Thailand. The project is currently in permitting stage. It will be developed in single phase. Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in December 2021.

Description

The project cost is expected to be around $49.367m.

The process of combustion will be adopted in this project to release the stored energy from the feed. Refuse which is a kind of municipal solid waste will be used as a feedstock to power the project.

Development Status

Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in December 2021.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project will be sold to Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand under a power purchase agreement. The power will be sold at the rate of $0.066kWh for a period of 20 years. The capacity to be procured is 16MW.
