The project is being developed by Neoen and Prokon Wind Energy Finland. The project is currently owned by Neoen with a stake of 100%.
The project cost is expected to be around $762.778m.
Development Status
Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2023.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project will be sold to Google Energy under a power purchase agreement. The offtake capacity is expected to be 125MW.
Contractors Involved
Vestas Wind Systems is expected to render EPC services for the wind power project.
Mutkalampi Wind Farm (Mutkalampi Wind Farm-I) will be equipped with Vestas Wind Systems V162-6.0 MW turbines. The phase consists of 63 turbines with 6MW nameplate capacity.
Mutkalampi Wind Farm (Mutkalampi Wind Farm-II) will be equipped with Vestas Wind Systems V150-4.2 MW turbines. The phase consists of 6 turbines with 4.3MW nameplate capacity.
Vestas Wind Systems is expected to perform operations and maintenance for the wind power project for a period of 25 years.
