Description
The project is currently owned by Saudi Electricity with a stake of 100%.
It is a Gas Turbine power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is diesel. In case of shortage of diesel the plant can also run on Crude Oil.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in March 1985.

The power generated from the project is sold to Saudi Electricity under a power purchase agreement.
