Nam Mang 1, Laos

Nam Mang 1 is a 64MW hydro power project. It is located on Mang river/basin in Bolikhamxai, Laos. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in 2017.

The project was developed by Dongfang Electric, Far-East Industrial and Saytha Construction. The project is currently owned by Electricite du Laos with a stake of 15%.

The hydro reservoir capacity is 16.52 million cubic meter. The net head of the project is 86m. The project generated 224.8 GWh of electricity. The project cost is $90m.

The hydro power project consists of 3 turbines, each with 21.33MW nameplate capacity.

The project has 3 electric generators installed at the site.

The project got commissioned in 2017.
