Description
The project is currently owned by ArcLight Capital Partners with a stake of 100%.
It is a Gas Turbine power plant that is used for Peakload. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Distillate Fuel Oil.
The project generated 24,000MWh of electricity.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in May 1972.
Contractors Involved
GE Power was selected as the turbine supplier for thermal power project. The project consists of 16 units of Frame 5 turbines, each with 22MW nameplate capacity.
