The project is currently owned by Hokuriku Electric Power.
The hydro reservoir capacity is 4.1 million cubic meter.
Nihikadouhara (Nihikadouhara Phase 1) consists of 2 units of francis turbines.

Fuji Electric supplied 1 electric generator for the Nihikadouhara (Nihikadouhara Phase 3). The generator capacity is 53 MVA.
