Description

Gazprom Energoholding and Fortum Power and Heat are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 51.79% and 29.45% respectively.

The hydro reservoir capacity is 39 million cubic meter. The gross head of the project is 17.5m. Nizhnetulom underwent through rehabilitation & modernization during 1987. The project generated 270.3 GWh of electricity.

The project has 4 electric generators installed at the site.

Contractors Involved

Power Machines was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 4 units of kaplan turbines, each with 14.3MW nameplate capacity.
