The North Bergen Liberty Generating Project is 1,200MW gas fired power project. It is planned in New Jersey, the US. The project is currently in permitting stage. It will be developed in single phase. The project construction is likely to commence in 2022 and is expected to enter into commercial operation in February 2024.

The project is being developed and currently owned by North Bergen Liberty Generating.
It is a combined cycle gas turbine (ccgt) power plant that will be used for Baseload. The power plant can run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant will be natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant will run on Ultra-Low Sulfur Distillate Fuel.
The project cost is expected to be around $1,500m.
