Description
The project is currently owned by Avista with a stake of 100%.
The hydro reservoir capacity is 493.1 million cubic meter. Noxon Rapids underwent through rehabilitation & modernization during 2008-2012. The project generated 1,581 GWh of electricity.

Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Avista under a power purchase agreement with a contracted capacity is 598MW.
Contractors Involved
POWER Engineers was selected to render EPC services for the hydro power project.
Toshiba International was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 5 units of francis turbines, each with 113.9MW nameplate capacity.
Voith Siemens Hydro Power Generation supplied 5 electric generators for the project.
