Nygard PSP is a pumped storage project. The gross head of the project is 450m. The penstock length is 2,500m. The project generated 89 GWh of electricity.

GE Energy (Norway) was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 1 unit of francis turbine with 56MW nameplate capacity.
