Description

The project is currently owned by New York Power Authority.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Kerosene. The fuel is procured from Con Edison Pipeline.

The project generated 2,997,949MWh of electricity.

Contractors Involved

DMJM Harris Energy & Power Services, GE Power, Sargent & Lundy and Skanska were selected to render EPC services for the gas fired power project.

GE Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The Gas fired project consists of 1 steam turbine.

GE Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 2 units of 7F.04 gas turbines.

GE Power supplied electric generator for the project.

Vogt-NEM supplied steam boiler for the project.
