Description
The project was developed by EDF Renewables North America and is currently owned by Madison Gas and Electric.
O’Brien Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 140 acres.
The project generates 39,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 6,300 households, offsetting 27,713t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $32m.

The project construction commenced in 2020 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in June 2021.
Contractors Involved
Canadian Solar was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 60,318 modules at the site.
The project is utilising single axis trackers supplied by SolTech.
