Description
The project is being developed and currently owned by Sindicato Energetico.
The gross head and net head of the project will be 403.5m and 393.5m respectively. The penstock length will be 900m. The project is expected to generate 303 GWh of electricity. The project cost is expected to be around $91.3m.
The hydro power project consists of 2 turbines, each with 25.5MW nameplate capacity.
The project will have 2 electric generators installed at the project site. The generator capacity is likely to be 30 MVA.
Development Status
The project construction is expected to commence from 2024. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2026.
Contractors Involved
H2Olmos is expected to perform operations and maintenance for the hydro power project for a period of 25 years.
