Description
BKW Energie, Alpiq Holding, Axpo Solutions and Axpo Power are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 30%, 22%, 15% and 5% respectively.
The penstock length is 7,600m. The project generated 100 GWh of electricity.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in 1968.
Contractors Involved
Voith Hydro Holding was selected as the turbine supplier for the hydro power project. The company provided 2 units of francis turbines, each with 25MW nameplate capacity.
GE Renewable Energy supplied 2 electric generators for the project. The generator capacity is 27 MVA.
