Oyoun (Ayoun) Mousa Power Station is a 640MW gas fired power project. It is located in Suez, Egypt. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in 2000.

Description

The project is currently owned by East Delta Electricity Production with a stake of 100%.

It is a Steam Turbine power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Heavy Fuel Oil.

The project generated 4,578,000MWh of electricity.

Contractors Involved

Power Engineering Services was selected to render EPC services for the gas fired power project.

Siemens was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 2 units of 3-Casting Condensing with Reheat steam turbines, each with 320MW nameplate capacity.

Siemens supplied THDD 108/44 electric generator for the project.

Babcock & Wilcox Enterprises supplied steam boiler for the project.
