Patia I, Colombia

Patia I is a 520MW hydro power project. It is planned on Patia river/basin in Narino, Colombia. The project is currently in announced stage. It will be developed in single phase. Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2025.

Description

The project is being developed and currently owned by Isagen.

Patia I is a run-of-river project. The hydro reservoir capacity is planned to be 8.54 million cubic meter. The net head of the project will be 148.7m. The project is expected to generate 2,939 GWh of electricity. The project cost is expected to be around $1,514m.

The hydro power project consists of 4 units of francis turbines.

Development Status

Post completion of the construction, the project is expected to get commissioned in 2025.
