Description
CLP Power Hong Kong and China Southern Power Grid are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 70% and 30% respectively.
It is a Gas Turbine power plant that is used for Reserve.
The project emitted 0.7t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in 1992.
Contractors Involved
GE Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Oil fired project. The company provided 3 units of 9E gas turbines, each with 100MW nameplate capacity.
GE Power supplied electric generator for the project.
