PGE Belchatow Solar PV Park, Poland

PGE Belchatow Solar PV Park is a 60MW solar PV power project. It is planned in Lodz, Poland. The project is currently in permitting stage. It will be developed in single phase. The project construction is likely to commence in 2022 and is expected to enter into commercial operation in 2023.

Description

The project is being developed by PGE Energia Odnawialna and PGE Gornictwo i Energetyka Konwencjonalna Spolka Akcyjna. These companies also have ownership stakes in the project.

PGE Belchatow Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 100 hectares.

The project is expected to generate 2,500MWh electricity and supply enough clean energy to power 30,000 households. The project cost is expected to be around $84.3m.
