Description

The project was developed by ESJ Renovable II, Infraestructura Energetica Nova SAB de CV and Prodiel Proyectos de Instalaciones Electricas. Sempra and Others are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 99.9% and 0.1% respectively.

Pima Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 362 hectares.

The project generates 293GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 147,000 households, offsetting 195,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The project consists of 443,077 modules.

Development status

The project construction commenced in 2018 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in 2019.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Deacero under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years. The contracted capacity is 110MW.

ESJ Renovable II was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.
