Pioneer Group Gas Fired Power Plant is a 388MW gas fired power project. It is located in Maharashtra, India. The project is currently active. It has been developed in single phase. Post completion of construction, the project got commissioned in July 2016.

Description

The project is developed and owned by Korea Western Power and Pioneer Gas Power. The company’s ownership stake in the project stands as 60% and 40% respectively.

It is a Combined Cycle Gas Turbine (CCGT) power plant. The fuel is procured from Dabhol-Dahej main pipe line,GAIL.

The project cost is $262.831m.

Development Status

The project got commissioned in July 2016.

Contractors Involved

Tata Projects was selected to render EPC services for the gas fired power project.

The Gas fired project have been supplied by Doosan Skoda Power and GE Power.

The electric generators for the project were procured from Doosan Skoda Power and GE Power.

John Cockerill Group supplied steam boiler for the project.
