Description

The project was developed by Canadian Solar, Edf En do Brasil Participacoes and Solatio Energia. The project is co-owned by Edf En do Brasil Participacoes and Omega Energia Renovavel, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.

Pirapora Solar PV Park-2 is a ground-mounted solar project.

The project generates 73,634.4MWh of electricity. The project cost is $31.288m.

Development Status

The project got commissioned in April 2018.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Camara de Comercializacao de Energia Eletrica under a power purchase agreement. The power is sold at the rate of $0.08kWh for a period of 20.00 years, starting from 2018.

Contractors Involved

Biosar Energy was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.

Canadian Solar was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company supplied modules with rated capacity of 380W.

The project is utilising single axis trackers supplied by NEXTracker.

Solarig Global Service is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project. The operation and maintenance contract commenced from 2020, for a period of 8 years.
