Potosi Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 850 hectares.
The project generates 815,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 76,100 households, offsetting 97,700,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $498.341m.
The project got commissioned in June 2019.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Comision Federal de Electricidad under a power purchase agreement with a contracted capacity is 300MW.
TSK Group was selected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.
The inverters were procured from Ingeteam Corporacion for the project.
The project is utilising single axis trackers supplied by Gonvarri Steel Services.
