The project was developed by Dhamma Energy and is currently owned by Balam Fund with a stake of 100%.

Balam Fund San Luis Potosi Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 80 hectares.

The project generates 80GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 12,162 households, offsetting 49,004t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The project construction commenced in 2018 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in September 2019.

Contractors involved

Grupo Gransolar was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

LONGi Solar Technology was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 106,000 modules at the site.

Gamesa Electric supplied its Gamesa Electric PV2500 inverters to the project site.

The project is utilising single axis trackers supplied by PVHardware.

Grupo Gransolar is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project.
