Description

The project was developed by FRV Services Australia. The project is co-owned by Dif Infrastructure IV Cooperatief UA and Lighthouse Infrastructure Management, with their respective ownership stake of 50% each.

Clare Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 300 hectares.

The project generates 260GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 42,000 households, offsetting 200,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Development status

The project got commissioned in May 2018.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Origin Energy under a power purchase agreement for a period of 13 years from 2018. The contracted capacity is 100MW.

Contractors involved

Downer EDI was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

Trina Solar Australia was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 393,300 modules at the site.

Downer EDI is the O&M contractor for the solar PV power project for a period of 2 years.
