The project is being developed by Actividades de Construccion y Servicios, Cobra Concesiones, Galp Energia Espana and Ignis Energia. Galp Energia Espana and Actividades de Construccion y Servicios are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 75.01% and 24.99% respectively.

Cobra Galisteo Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 132 hectares.

Development status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2020. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2024.

Contractors involved

Cobra Concesiones is expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.

Jinko Solar will be the supplier of the PV modules for the solar power project. The company is expected to provide 146,730 modules each with 340W of nameplate capacity.

Ingeteam Corporacion is likely to be the supplier of 28 of its SUNWAY 1640TL-630 inverters to the project site.

The project will utilise horizontal single axis tracker that are likely to be supplied by STI Norland.
