Description

The project is being developed by Izdem Enerji Yatirim Uretim ve Ticaret Anonim Sirketi and Turkerler Holding. The project is currently owned by Izdem Enerji Yatirim Uretim ve Ticaret Anonim Sirketi with a stake of 100%.

The project is expected to generate 308,500MWh electricity to offset 174,794t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

The Kocatepe Wind Farm (Kocatepe Wind Farm- Phase I), will have 116m high towers.

The Kocatepe Wind Farm (Kocatepe Wind Farm- Phase III), will have 116m high towers.

Development status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2019. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2019.

Contractors involved

Enercon will be the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The project consists of 25 units of E-126 EP3 turbines, each with 4MW nameplate capacity.
