Description
The project was developed by Fotowatio Renewable Ventures and is currently owned by FRV La Solanilla.
La Solanilla Solar PV Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 160 hectares.
The project generates 103GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 35,000 households, offsetting 72,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $65.16m.

The project construction commenced in 2018 and subsequently entered into commercial operation in May 2020.
Contractors involved
Cobra Instalaciones y Servicios was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the solar PV power project.
Trina Solar was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company provided 151,500 modules each with 330W of nameplate capacity.
The inverters were procured from Power Electronics Espana for the project.
The project is utilising single axis trackers supplied by PVHardware.
