The project is being developed by Globeleq Africa, Parque Eolico de Namaacha and Source Energia. The project is currently owned by Parque Eolico de Namaacha with a stake of 100%.

The project cost is expected to be around $280m.

Development status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2020. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2023.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project will be sold to Electricidade de Mocambique EP under a power purchase agreement.
