Description

The project was developed by Osage Wind, TradeWind Energy and Wind Capital Group. The project is currently owned by Enel Green Power North America with a stake of 50%.

The project generates 620GWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 53,000 households, offsetting 300,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year.

Power purchase agreement

The power generated from the project is sold to Associated Electric Cooperative under a power purchase agreement for a period of 20 years from 2015. The contracted capacity is 150MW.

Infrastructure and Energy Alternatives was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the wind power project.

GE Renewable Energy was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The company provided 84 units of 1.7-100 turbines, each with 1.79MW nameplate capacity.
