Description

The project is being developed by Sermsang Power, ST International and Truong Thanh Tra Vinh Wind Power. Climate Investor One, Sermsang Power, ST International, Truong Thanh Tra Vinh Wind Power and Woojin Construction are currently owning the project. The turbines will be mounted on fixed type foundations.

Tra Vinh V1-2 (Tra Vinh V1-2 II) consists of 48 turbines with 2MW nameplate capacity.

Development status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2020. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by December 2021.

Contractors involved

Vestas Wind Systems is expected to render engineering procurement construction services for the Tra Vinh V1-2 (Tra Vinh V1-2 I).

Tra Vinh V1-2 (Tra Vinh V1-2 I) will be equipped with Goldwind Science & Technology GW155/4500kW turbines. The phase consists of 12 turbines with 4MW nameplate capacity.

Vestas Wind Systems is expected to perform operations and maintenance for the Tra Vinh V1-2 (Tra Vinh V1-2 I) for a period of 10 years.
