The project is developed and owned by Grassroots Renewable Energy.
The project generates 836,000MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 115,000 households, offsetting 700,000t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $437.742m.

Vestas Wind Systems was selected to render engineering procurement construction services for the wind power project.
Vestas Wind Systems was selected as the turbine supplier for the wind power project. The project consists of 75 units of V126-3.45MW turbines, each with 3.6MW nameplate capacity.
Vestas Wind Systems is the O&M contractor for the wind power project for a period of 10 years.
