Description

The project is currently owned by Qatar Aluminium with a stake of 100%.

It is a combined cycle gas turbine (ccgt) power plant. The fuel is procured from Qatar Petroleum.

The project cost is $1,498.365m.

Development Status

Doosan Heavy Industries & Construction and GE Power were selected to render EPC services for the gas fired power project.

GE Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The Gas fired project consists of 2 steam turbines.

GE Power was selected as the turbine supplier for the Gas fired project. The company provided 4 units of 9FA gas turbines, each with 219MW nameplate capacity.

GE Power supplied electric generator for the project.

GE Power supplied steam boiler for the project.

GE Power is the O&M contractor for thermal power project for a period of 30 years.
