The project was developed by ALSTOM Power Holdings, Bardella SA Industrias Mecanicas and Queiroz Galvao Energia. Cemig Geracao e Transmissao and Companhia Energetica de Brasilia are currently owning the project having ownership stake of 82.5% and 17.5% respectively.
