Quetta Solar PV Park 1 is a 50MW solar PV power project. It is planned in Balochistan, Pakistan. The project is currently in permitting stage. It will be developed in single phase. The project construction is likely to commence in 2022 and is expected to enter into commercial operation in 2023.

Description

The project is being developed and currently owned by Enertech Quetta Solar.

Quetta Solar PV Park 1 is a ground-mounted solar project which is planned over 250 acres.

The project cost is expected to be around $50m.

Development Status

The project construction is expected to commence from 2022. Subsequent to that it will enter into commercial operation by 2023.

Power Purchase Agreement

The power generated from the project will be sold to Central Power Purchasing Agency under a power purchase agreement for a period of 25 years. The offtake capacity is expected to be 39.44MW.

Contractors Involved

Power Construction Corporation of China is expected to render EPC services for the solar PV power project.

Canadian Solar will be the supplier of the PV modules for the solar power project. The company is expected to provide 147,060 modules each with 340W of nameplate capacity.

Huawei Technologies is likely to be the supplier of 464 of its Sun2000 90KTL inverters to the project site.
