Description
The project is currently owned by Ahwaz Power Generation Management.
It is a steam turbine power plant. The power plant run on dual-fuel. The primary fuel being used to power the plant is natural gas. In case of shortage of natural gas the plant can also run on Fuel Oil.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in August 1979.
Contractors Involved
Technopromexport was selected to render EPC services for the gas fired power project.
Leningradsky Metallichesky Zavod was selected as the turbine supplier for thermal power project. The project consists of 6 units of K-300-240 turbines, each with 315MW nameplate capacity.
