Description
Rio Fujiwara Inabe Solar Park is a ground-mounted solar project which is spread over an area of 100,000 square meters.
The project generates 33.75MWh electricity and supplies enough clean energy to power 9,400 households, offsetting 10,614t of carbon dioxide emissions (CO2) a year. The project cost is $56.067m.
Development Status
The project got commissioned in January 2019.
Power Purchase Agreement
The power generated from the project is sold to Chubu Electric Power under a power purchase agreement.
Contractors Involved
Solar Frontier was selected as the supplier of the PV modules for the project. The company installed 143,623 modules at the site.
